Verizon has announced a new addition to their Droid family, Motorola Droid 4. It is supposed to be thinnest and most powerful smartphone with QWERTY keyboard.

Motorola Droid 4
Verizon has already added few good handsets to Droid lineup, from the specs wise it might not be a big boost from the current market standard, But it will be a great addition to their lineup.
Specs for Droid 4
- 1.2GHz dual core processor
- 1 GB RAM
- 16 GB internal memory
- 8MP rear camera with HD recording
- 4 inch screen
- 4G capable
- Android 2.3.5
One thing which was disheartening to see is Motorola and Verizon went ahead with Android 2.3.5 version rather then Ice-cream Sandwich. Though handset will be upgradable to Android 4.0 and might be one of the first handset to receive that upgrade.
One other specification which makes it more desirable is the thickness of the phone. This phone will the thinnest phone which will have QWERTY keyboard. It will have a slide out panel to bring the keyboard for use.
Phone will come with the usual accessories like 10.1 inch Lapdoc 100, 14.1 inch Lapdock 500, HD Dock and Vehicle Navigation Mount.
So are you going for it or waiting for something more big in 2012?
